Seven brands sell sulforaphane capsules, or a broccoli extract sold on its sulforaphane content, to UK buyers, and their labels differ in four ways that matter more than the front of the pack: which figure is stated (the weight of broccoli extract, the glucoraphanin in it, the sulforaphane it provides, or all three), whether myrosinase or a mustard seed source of it is added, what else is in the capsule, and whether a certificate of analysis is given. Stated sulforaphane runs from 2.25mg to 100mg a serving; one brand gives no milligram figure at all. One links a certificate on the page, one supplies it on request, the rest say "third-party tested" or nothing. Sulforaphane is an isothiocyanate: it forms when glucoraphanin, a glucosinolate concentrated in broccoli seeds and sprouts, is broken down by the enzyme myrosinase. That is the chemistry, and this article makes no claim beyond it. Here are the seven UK sulforaphane products that come up most often, compared on their labels.

- Stabilised sulforaphane, one capsule as the unit: Vitality Pro Prostaphane, 10mg "free-form stabilised sulforaphane" in 220mg broccoli seed extract per capsule, one to three a day, fridge recommended. Made in France, sold by a UK company.
- Glucoraphanin plus myrosinase, no milligram figures: DoNotAge SulforaBoost, 230mg of the branded ingredient per capsule, 460mg a day, 60 or 366 capsules. Own site in US dollars; Healf stocks it in the UK.
- Extract weight on the front, sulforaphane figure in the text: Peak Supps Broccoli Sulforaphane 450mg, one capsule a day of 10:1 broccoli extract providing 2.25mg sulforaphane, with maltodextrin and an HPMC shell.
Best sulforaphane supplement UK: the comparison table
Every column is a label fact taken from the product page. "Not stated" means the page does not give it. Prices are left out on purpose; each brand's current price is on its own site, and the reason is in "How we checked".

What the seven labels say
Verve is the only label that states sulforaphane with no extract weight beside it (40mg); DoNotAge is the only one that states neither, giving 460mg of a branded ingredient instead. Four give an extract weight and the sulforaphane it provides: Naturecan (769mg, 100mg), Longevity Box (880mg, 8.8mg), Vitality Pro (220mg, 10mg) and Peak Supps (450mg, 2.25mg). Time Health alone gives glucoraphanin, myrosinase and sulforaphane in milligrams. Three add an enzyme source: Time Health 16mg myrosinase, Longevity Box 40mg mustard seed extract, DoNotAge "myrosinase enzyme" with no figure. Five say "seed", Naturecan says "flower", Peak Supps says "broccoli extract". Verve is the only capsule with nothing but the active and the shell. Only Longevity Box links a certificate or states a purity percentage. Two give a storage line; five say nothing.
The products in detail
Verve Sulforaphane 40mg
Verve Sulforaphane is the product we make. The label is one line: sulforaphane, 40mg per two-capsule serving, in a plant cellulose shell. The description adds that it comes from broccoli seed extract standardised for glucoraphanin. Sixty capsules, 30 servings, two a day with water. Every batch is tested for purity, and the certificate of analysis, with the purity figure, is available on request from hello@vavaverve.com. The gaps: no extract weight or glucoraphanin figure (Time Health gives both), no per-capsule figure, no storage line (two competitors give one), and the certificate is on request rather than linked (only Longevity Box links one). No myrosinase is listed; three brands add one. £25.99 one-off (87p a serving), £20.79 a month (69p) or £56.70 a quarter for three packs (63p). Who it suits: anyone who wants the sulforaphane figure itself on the label, one active in the capsule and a certificate they can ask for.
Naturecan Sulforaphane
Sixty, 120 or 180 capsules, two a day with a meal, so 30 servings from the smallest pack. The nutrition table gives 769mg of broccoli flower extract per serving, "of which sulforaphanes: 100mg", the highest figure in this table. Glucoraphanin is not stated; nor is seed or sprout. Ingredients are rice flour, a hydroxypropyl methylcellulose capsule, magnesium salts of fatty acids, silicon dioxide and the extract. Testing wording is "third-party testing at every stage of production", with no figure and no product certificate on the page. Made in Europe; the company is in Stockport. Two lines disagree: an information table lists a maximum intake of 40mg daily and a recommended intake of 100mg daily. No storage advice. Who it suits: anyone who wants the largest stated sulforaphane figure and a choice of three pack sizes.
Time Health Glucoraphanin & Sulforaphane Broccoli Extract (SanBroc)
The most detailed label here. Two capsules give 400mg of SanBroc GRA Plus broccoli seed extract providing 40mg glucoraphanin, 16mg myrosinase and 8mg sulforaphane, plus 360mg of broccoli powder. The capsules are DRcaps, a hypromellose shell the brand describes as stomach acid-resistant. No synthetic bulking or anti-caking agents, vegan, 60 capsules, two a day with water. UK-made to GMP standards, with an Uckfield address. The page states no purity figure, no testing statement, no certificate and no storage line. Who it suits: anyone who wants glucoraphanin, myrosinase and sulforaphane each stated in milligrams, from a UK-made product.
Longevity Box Pure Active Sulforaphane
A 120-capsule pack labelled as 60 servings of two capsules. Each serving is 880mg of broccoli seed extract providing 8.8mg sulforaphane, 40mg mustard seed extract (the brand's myrosinase source) and 80mg black pepper extract, in a vegetable cellulose shell. The brand says every batch exceeds 99% purity, is independently tested in the UK, and guarantees potency for 700 days. It is the only product here with a certificate linked on the page: a report from Eurofins' Suzhou laboratory dated February 2024 on a 50g sulforaphane powder sample, giving 12,800 micrograms of sulforaphane per gram, with no batch number and no purity percentage. Storage is a cool, dry, airtight, dark place. Three and six-pack options are sold; the company is in Poole. Who it suits: anyone who wants to read a laboratory report before buying and prefers a 60-serving pack.
DoNotAge SulforaBoost
Each capsule holds 230mg of SulforaBoost, a branded broccoli seed ingredient described as glucoraphanin plus myrosinase, with a recommended daily serving of 460mg, so two capsules. The own-brand page gives no milligram figure for glucoraphanin, myrosinase or sulforaphane, no ingredients list and no shell material; the Healf listing gives "SulforaBoost (Sulforaphane Glucosinolate from Broccoli Seed Extract, Myrosinase Enzyme), Cellulose". Sixty or 366 capsules. Testing is "third-party tested, batch by batch"; no certificate is mentioned and batch information is through customer support. No storage line. The brand says it has a presence in the UK, USA and Europe; its site priced in US dollars. Who it suits: anyone who wants glucoraphanin and myrosinase together and accepts a branded ingredient weight in place of a compound figure.
Vitality Pro Prostaphane
Prostaphane is made in Brittany by Olga; Vitality Pro, an ISO 9001 certified UK company, is its UK distributor. Each capsule gives 10mg of "free-form stabilised sulforaphane" in 220mg of broccoli seed extract; directions are one to three a day, "equal to 10-30mg". The other ingredients are the longest list here: an HPMC shell coloured with copper complex of chlorophyllins, maltodextrin, acacia gum and magnesium stearate, with 0.010mg of sulphites a capsule. Vegan. Thirty or 90 capsules per container on the label; 180 and 360 also sold. The only fridge line in the table. A badge says "Independent Testing for Purity" while the text says Vitality Pro stocks it "without additional third-party testing"; no certificate. Who it suits: anyone who wants a label that states stabilised sulforaphane, in a 10mg capsule they can take one, two or three of.
Peak Supps Broccoli Sulforaphane 450mg
One capsule a day of 450mg broccoli extract at a 10:1 ratio, "providing 2.25mg (2500mcg) of sulforaphane". The page does not say seed or sprout, gives no glucoraphanin figure and lists no enzyme. Ingredients are the extract, an HPMC shell and maltodextrin; allergens "none"; vegan; GMO free. It shows no purity figure, no testing statement, no certificate, no storage line and, in the text our tools could read, no pack size; check the physical label. The brand gives no address, only free UK delivery. Who it suits: anyone who wants a single small capsule a day and will read the pack for what the page leaves out.
Others you will see named
Natroceutics Sulforaphane Complex and Coyne Healthcare Bio-Sulforaphane Advanced are South African brands sold in the UK through Bio-Nature, Healf, The Natural Dispensary and John Bell & Croyden; we have not read them on a brand UK page. Metagenics Broccoli Plus, which UK listings still call "formerly Nutri Advanced", is a US brand, and the Nutri Advanced website would not let our tools read its page. Jarrow Formulas BroccoMax, Thorne Crucera-SGS, Swanson, Source Naturals, Mara Labs BrocElite, Designs for Health BroccoProtect and BROQ are US brands not checked on a UK site. Love Life Supplements' Broccoli Sprout Extract is on retailer listings but not on the brand's own site. We found no sulforaphane product at Youth & Earth, Charava, Kiki Health, Wellgard or Hey Nutrition; Holland & Barrett, Cytoplan and Bulk search pages blocked our tools.
How to compare sulforaphane supplements
- Find which figure is stated. A label can give the weight of broccoli extract (Peak Supps: 450mg), the glucoraphanin in it (Time Health: 40mg), the sulforaphane it provides (Verve: 40mg; Naturecan: 100mg), or all three. Glucoraphanin is the precursor, sulforaphane is the compound it becomes, the extract weight is the whole powder. Do not read 450mg of extract as 450mg of sulforaphane.
- Read the sulforaphane wording. "Providing 8.8mg of sulforaphane" (Longevity Box), "of which sulforaphanes" (Naturecan), "standardised for glucoraphanin" (Verve) and "free-form stabilised sulforaphane" (Vitality Pro) are each brand's description of how its figure is arrived at. This article records them and does not rank them.
- Check for an enzyme. Myrosinase is the enzyme that converts glucoraphanin to sulforaphane. Time Health states 16mg, Longevity Box uses 40mg mustard seed extract, DoNotAge lists it without a figure, and Verve, Naturecan, Vitality Pro and Peak Supps list none. Whether that matters to you is not a label question, and we do not answer it here.
- Dose per serving, then per capsule. Five brands label two capsules as the serving, Peak Supps one, Vitality Pro one to three. Vitality Pro, Peak Supps and DoNotAge give a per-capsule figure; the other four give the serving only.
- What else is in the capsule. Count the ingredients after the extract: the shell (HPMC, hypromellose and plant cellulose are the same family), fillers such as rice flour or maltodextrin, flow agents, black pepper, a colourant. Verve lists a shell only; Vitality Pro lists five other ingredients.
- Certificate and storage. Longevity Box links a certificate; Verve supplies one on request; five show none. Vitality Pro says fridge, Longevity Box says cool, dry and dark, five say nothing.
- Price the plan you will actually be on. One-off, monthly and quarterly plans differ, and pack sizes run from 30 to 366 capsules. Check each brand's site for today's price; we have not compared prices here.

How much sulforaphane per serving do UK brands put on the label?
As labelled: Naturecan 100mg "sulforaphanes" per two capsules, Verve 40mg per two capsules, Vitality Pro 10mg per capsule (one to three a day), Longevity Box 8.8mg per two capsules, Time Health 8mg per two capsules alongside 40mg glucoraphanin, Peak Supps 2.25mg per capsule. DoNotAge gives 460mg a day of its branded glucoraphanin and myrosinase ingredient with no sulforaphane figure. This is what the labels say, not a recommendation.
What is the difference between broccoli extract, glucoraphanin and sulforaphane on a label?
Broccoli extract is the powder made from the seed, sprout or flower, and its weight is the biggest number on most labels. Glucoraphanin is the glucosinolate in that powder. Sulforaphane is the isothiocyanate that glucoraphanin becomes when myrosinase acts on it. Peak Supps states extract and sulforaphane, Time Health states all three plus myrosinase, Verve states sulforaphane only. The same milligram figure means a different thing in each column.
Which UK sulforaphane products publish a certificate of analysis?
Only Longevity Box links one on the product page: a Eurofins report from February 2024 on a sulforaphane powder sample, with no batch number. Verve supplies the certificate for your batch, with its purity figure, on request from hello@vavaverve.com. Naturecan's site has a general certificates page, but none is on the sulforaphane page. DoNotAge directs batch questions to its support team. Time Health, Vitality Pro and Peak Supps show none.
Does Verve Sulforaphane contain anything other than sulforaphane?
No. The ingredients table lists sulforaphane, 40mg per two-capsule serving, and the capsule is plant cellulose: no rice flour, no anti-caking agent, no enzyme, no pepper. The description says it comes from broccoli seed extract standardised for glucoraphanin, but the page does not give the extract weight or the glucoraphanin figure, which Time Health does. Every batch is tested, and the certificate with the purity figure is available on request. If you take blood-thinning medication or are undergoing medical treatment, speak to a healthcare professional before use.
What do the labels say about storing sulforaphane capsules?
Two of the seven give a storage line. Vitality Pro says the ideal place for Prostaphane is the refrigerator, with room temperature acceptable for short periods. Longevity Box says a cool, dry, airtight and dark place. Verve, Naturecan, Time Health, DoNotAge and Peak Supps give no storage advice on their pages; the physical pack may, so check it.

All seven sell from their own websites, though DoNotAge's priced in US dollars when we read it; DoNotAge and Longevity Box are also stocked by Healf, a UK retailer. Verve as a brand is also sold at Boots, Holland & Barrett and Amazon UK; we have not confirmed the sulforaphane listing at each. Every label fact above was taken from the brand's own website on 5 November 2026: vavaverve.com, uk.naturecan.com, timehealth.co.uk, longevitybox.co.uk, donotage.org, vitality-pro.com and peaksupps.co.uk, using the store's own product data feed where a page would not render, plus the certificate PDF linked by Longevity Box. Healf.com was read as the UK stockist for DoNotAge and Longevity Box. Where a page did not state a figure we have written "Not stated" rather than guessing, and we have not repeated any brand's claims about what sulforaphane does. Prices are deliberately not compared here: they change weekly and promotions distort them. Every brand's current price is on its own site.
