Is it right for me
what electrolytes do, every day.
Sweat contains sodium, potassium and magnesium. Each stick provides 500mg sodium, 400mg potassium and 150mg magnesium (40% NRV). Magnesium contributes to electrolyte balance.
Potassium contributes to normal muscle function and to the normal functioning of the nervous system. Magnesium contributes to a reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
Magnesium contributes to normal muscle function and to normal energy-yielding metabolism. Vitamin C contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.

when to take your electrolytes

morning
replace what the night took
Start the day with a glass of water and one stick before your first coffee.

pre-training
prime before you need it
One stick in 500ml of water before training, so you start with sodium, potassium and magnesium on board.

post-training
replace what sweat took
it's not just water you lose in sweat, top up what it actually took from you.

demanding afternoons
demanding afternoons
One stick in 500ml of water. Magnesium and vitamin C contribute to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
The science
how electrolytes actually work
When you sweat you lose water and minerals, mostly sodium, with smaller amounts of potassium and magnesium.
Sodium is the main mineral lost in sweat. Each stick provides 500mg sodium (1.25g salt), worth knowing if you follow a sodium-restricted diet.
Potassium (400mg, 20% NRV) contributes to normal muscle function. Magnesium (150mg, 40% NRV) contributes to normal muscle function, normal energy-yielding metabolism and electrolyte balance.
Pure Hydra leads with the minerals: 500mg sodium, 400mg potassium and 150mg magnesium per stick, 0.2g sugar, no artificial sweeteners.

Frequently asked questions.
No — and that's a fair thing to wonder, because a lot of electrolyte products are exactly that. Ours has no artificial sweeteners and no artificial flavours. What you're paying for is properly dosed sodium, potassium and magnesium — the minerals your body actually loses, not a drink mix.
Water is the best everyday drink. On training days, hot days or when you sweat heavily you also lose sodium, potassium and magnesium. One stick adds all three, and magnesium contributes to electrolyte balance.
Our electrolytes are strawberry lemonade flavour which perfectly balances the sodium content within the product. People often say they're not too salty or too sweet.
Ours leads with the minerals: 500mg sodium, 400mg potassium and 150mg magnesium per stick, with 0.2g sugar.
Use it on training days, hot days and high-sweat days. 14 sticks lasts two weeks at one a day, or about a month every other day.
