Updated November 2026. Label facts checked on 5 November 2026 on each brand's own UK website. Verve makes one of the products below (Resveratrol Balance 440mg Capsules), so read the table before you read our view.
Nine UK brands sell resveratrol as capsules, and one also sells a powder. Their labels differ in four ways: how the resveratrol is declared (trans-resveratrol in milligrams, a knotweed extract with a percentage, or the word "resveratrol" on its own), the amount per serving (200mg to 1,000mg), whether a purity figure and a certificate of analysis are given, and what else is in the capsule. Six of the nine state a purity percentage. Three link a certificate on the product page and Verve supplies one on request. Resveratrol is a polyphenol found in grape skins, peanuts and the root of Japanese knotweed, the plant most supplement resveratrol is extracted from; it exists as two isomers, trans and cis. That is the chemistry, and this article makes no claim beyond it.
The short answer
- A split dose, two capsules morning and two evening, from a UK brand: Verve Resveratrol Balance 440mg Capsules, 440mg a day over four capsules, 30 servings. Tested every batch, certificate with the purity figure on request; no isomer or shell named on the page.
- 1,000mg of trans-resveratrol a serving, in milligrams: Charava Resveratrol 1000mg (2 x 500mg, 99%) and Longevity Box Pure Trans Resveratrol (two capsules, batch certificate linked at 99.7%).
- Certificate of analysis linked on the page: Longevity Box, Naturecan and Youth & Earth.
- One capsule a day, two months in a bottle: Kiki Health Resveratrol (392mg from a 98% knotweed extract) and Naturecan Resveratrol (500mg trans-resveratrol). DoNotAge labels 500mg as the daily serving, in 60 or 366 capsules.
- Knotweed extract declared with its percentage: Kiki Health (400mg at 98%), Time Health (250mg root at 50%), Welzo (1,000mg at 98%, no milligram figure) and Youth & Earth (200mg).
- Powder option: DoNotAge Pure Resveratrol, 100g or 183g, 500mg a scoop.
- UK manufacture stated on the page: Charava and Time Health. Naturecan says made in Europe; the others do not say.

Every column is a label fact taken from the product page. "Not stated" means the page does not give it. The resveratrol column quotes each label's own wording. Prices are left out on purpose; the reason is in "How we checked".

What the nine labels say
Five labels put a milligram figure on trans-resveratrol itself: 500mg a capsule at Charava, DoNotAge and Naturecan, 1,000mg a two-capsule serving at Longevity Box, 200mg a serving at Youth & Earth. Three declare a knotweed extract and its percentage: Kiki Health does the sum for you (400mg at 98% is 392mg), Time Health calls its 250mg-at-50% capsules "125mg", and Welzo gives 1,000mg at 98% with no resveratrol figure. Verve alone writes "resveratrol" with no isomer and no source. Six state a purity percentage on the page, 98% to 99.7%; Verve's is on the batch certificate, and Naturecan gives none. Three link a certificate, Verve supplies one on request, Time Health links a heavy-metal report, and four describe testing with nothing to download. Three brands give storage advice; six say nothing.
The products in detail
Verve Resveratrol Balance 440mg Capsules
Verve Resveratrol Balance is the product we make. The label table is one line: resveratrol, 440mg per daily serving. The serving is four capsules, two in the morning and two in the evening, and a pack is 30 servings. Vegan, gluten free, soy free. Every batch is tested for purity, and the certificate of analysis for your batch, with the purity figure, is available on request from hello@vavaverve.com. The gaps: the page does not say "trans-resveratrol" or name the source, does not name the capsule shell, and gives no capsule count or storage line; the purity figure is on the certificate. £32.99 one-off (£1.10 a serving), £28.04 a month on subscription (93p) or £71.10 a quarter for three packs (79p). Who it suits: anyone who wants a stated 440mg a day split into morning and evening capsules from a UK brand, and will ask for the certificate rather than download it.
Charava Resveratrol 1000mg
Sixty veggie capsules, each labelled "500mg of 99% pure trans-resveratrol", two a day for 1,000mg, so 30 servings; 60-day and 90-day options are sold. The panel is the resveratrol and a hypromellose shell; the page says filler-free, with no GMOs, gluten, soy or artificial additives. Each batch is tested for purity, potency and safety, with a "Third-Party Tested for Purity" badge, but no certificate is shown or linked. UK-made in GMP-certified facilities. No storage advice. The description calls a bottle a two-month supply, which does not match two a day from sixty. Who it suits: anyone who wants 1,000mg of trans-resveratrol a day in two capsules, made in the UK.
DoNotAge Pure Resveratrol
Sold as capsules (60 or 366) and as powder (100g or 183g). The label line is "each capsule/scoop contains 500mg resveratrol", the heading says 99% pure trans-resveratrol, and the recommended daily serving is 500mg, so a 60-capsule bottle is 60 servings. Third-party tested batch by batch, made to GMP and ISO9001 standards; no certificate on the page. The ingredient list and shell are not stated, only "free from fillers or unnecessary ingredients". No storage advice. The brand describes a presence in the USA, the UK and mainland Europe, and Healf, a UK retailer, stocks the capsules. Who it suits: anyone who wants a powder option or a 366-capsule bottle, and will ask the brand for the ingredient panel.
Longevity Box Pure Trans Resveratrol
A 1,000mg dose as two capsules a day, 30 servings a pack, in a vegetable cellulose shell and nothing else. Longevity Box is the clearest on testing: every batch is tested by an independent UK laboratory, and the page links certificate PDFs, the newest for batch 71502 with a 99.7% result dated September 2026. One certificate link opened a different product's file when we checked, so read the batch number on the PDF. Storage is a cool, dry, airtight, dark place. The brand is in Poole; capsules per pack are not stated. Who it suits: anyone who wants 1,000mg a day and a batch certificate they can read before they order.
Naturecan Resveratrol Supplement
One 500mg trans-resveratrol capsule a day, in bottles of 60, 120 or 180. The ingredient list is trans-resveratrol, rosemary extract 10:1 and a hydroxypropyl methylcellulose shell, so this is not a single-ingredient capsule. No purity figure ("high purity"), but third-party testing at every stage and a certificate of analysis PDF, issued by Power Health, linked on the page. Made in Europe; the storefront is Naturecan UK, with no head office stated. No storage advice. The page gives a 500mg daily intake in one place and a 150mg maximum in another. Who it suits: anyone who wants one capsule a day, a certificate on the page and a long bottle.
Kiki Health Resveratrol 60 Vegicaps
One vegicap holds 400mg of Giant knotweed extract standardised to 98% trans-resveratrol, and the page states the result: 392mg of resveratrol per capsule. One a day with food, 60 capsules, so two months. Ingredients are the extract and a hypromellose shell, nothing else. Testing is in-house wording, "strict quality and purity testing before being encapsulated", with no third-party line and no certificate. Storage is a cool, dry place away from sunlight; refrigeration not required. KIKI Ltd is in Aylsham, Norfolk. Who it suits: anyone who wants one capsule a day with the knotweed sum already done on the label.
Time Health Trans-Resveratrol
Each pullulan capsule holds 250mg of Japanese knotweed root standardised to 50% trans-resveratrol and 40mg of grape skin extract at 5%; the page calls them 125mg capsules. Two a day, one morning and one evening with food, from a 180-capsule bottle, so 90 days. Vegan, no bulking or anti-caking agents, UK manufactured, from an Uckfield company. Testing is a linked heavy-metal analysis from November 2025 and a GMP line; there is no certificate for the resveratrol content and no storage advice. Who it suits: anyone who prefers a lower-strength extract split across the day and a three-month bottle.
Welzo Trans-Resveratrol (Ultra Purity)
The label line is "1,000mg of Japanese knotweed extract standardised to an exceptional 98% trans-resveratrol per daily serving": a large extract figure but no resveratrol figure. The page gives no capsule count, serving size, ingredient list, shell material, directions or storage advice; it is sold as one, two or three bottles. Testing is "independently tested for quality" with no laboratory named and no certificate. The storefront is GB and priced in pounds, but the pages do not say where the company is based. Who it suits: anyone who wants a high extract dose at 98% and will check the physical label for what the page leaves out.
Youth & Earth TransResveratrol+
The only blend in the table. Two capsules give 200mg of trans-resveratrol from Japanese knotweed at 98%, with 400mg of quercetin, 200mg of curcumin and 20mg of BioPerine black pepper extract, in a vegetable cellulose shell. Sixty capsules, 30 servings, taken in the morning without food; the label warns it may stain. A certificate of analysis PDF is linked, and the brand says every product is third-party tested. Storage is away from heat and sunlight in a closed container. It is a UK store; the registered base is not on the pages we could read. Who it suits: anyone who wants resveratrol alongside quercetin and curcumin and can see the certificate first.
Others you will see named
Simply Supplements sells Resveratrol Max with Grapeseed Extract 5,000mg; the 5,000mg is grape seed, and the resveratrol is 25mg from 100mg of knotweed extract, alongside green tea, vitamin C and thiamin. Peak Supps sells a 30-capsule Resveratrol 500mg labelled as 500mg of extract providing 490mg of trans-resveratrol, with two flow agents and no testing stated. Nutravita's resveratrol page would not let our tools read it, so it is left out rather than guessed at. Pterostilbene, sold by Longevity Box and in Charava's NMN+1200 blend, is a different compound. ProHealth Longevity, Toniiq, Renue by Science, Double Wood, Life Extension and Pure Encapsulations are US brands that appear in UK search results; we have not checked them on a UK site.
How to compare resveratrol supplements
- Work out which number is the resveratrol. Labels use three styles. "Trans-resveratrol 500mg" is the compound itself. "Knotweed extract 400mg (98% trans-resveratrol)" is a plant extract weight; multiply by the percentage to get the resveratrol (392mg). "Resveratrol 440mg" alone gives the amount but not the isomer or the source; most labels specify trans, and Verve's does not.
- Per capsule, then per serving, then servings per pack. Charava's 500mg capsule is half a serving; DoNotAge's is the whole daily serving; Verve's 440mg is four capsules. Sixty capsules is 30 servings at two a day or 60 at one.
- Is a purity figure stated, and of what? 99% (Charava, DoNotAge) and 99.7% (Longevity Box) refer to the resveratrol. 98% at Kiki Health, Welzo and Youth & Earth, and 50% at Time Health, is the standardisation of the extract. Verve's is on the batch certificate; Naturecan gives none.
- Is a certificate of analysis available, and how? Longevity Box, Naturecan and Youth & Earth link one. Verve supplies one on request. Time Health links a heavy-metal report only. Charava, DoNotAge, Welzo and Kiki Health describe testing with no document.
- What else is in the capsule. Hypromellose, HPMC and vegetable cellulose are the same shell family; pullulan is an alternative. Then read past the shell: rosemary extract (Naturecan), grape skin (Time Health), quercetin and curcumin (Youth & Earth). Verve, DoNotAge and Welzo do not name the shell.
- Storage. Longevity Box, Kiki Health and Youth & Earth give storage advice. The other six say nothing.
- Price the plan you will actually be on. One-off, monthly and quarterly plans differ, and multi-bottle options change the arithmetic. Check each brand's site for today's price; we have not compared prices in this article.
Resveratrol supplements: your questions
How much resveratrol per day do UK brands put in a serving?
A labelled serving runs from 200mg to 1,000mg. Charava and Longevity Box label 1,000mg as two capsules. DoNotAge and Naturecan call one 500mg capsule the day's serving. Verve labels 440mg a day across four capsules. Kiki Health states 392mg in one capsule, Time Health about 250mg across two, and Youth & Earth 200mg across two in a blend. This is what the labels say, not a recommendation.
What is the difference between trans-resveratrol, resveratrol and Japanese knotweed extract on a label?
Resveratrol is one molecule with two geometric forms, trans and cis. "Trans-resveratrol 500mg" tells you the form and the amount. "Resveratrol 440mg" tells you the amount only. Japanese knotweed is the plant most supplement resveratrol is extracted from, and "knotweed extract 400mg (98% trans-resveratrol)" gives the extract weight and its concentration; multiply them for the resveratrol, 392mg here. An extract weight with no percentage, or a percentage with no weight, cannot be turned into a resveratrol figure.
Which UK resveratrol products publish a certificate of analysis?
Three link one on the product page: Longevity Box (batch 71502, 99.7%, September 2026), Naturecan (issued by Power Health) and Youth & Earth (for TransResveratrol+). Verve tests every batch and supplies the certificate for your batch, with the purity figure, on request from hello@vavaverve.com. Time Health links a heavy-metal analysis but no resveratrol certificate. Charava, DoNotAge, Welzo and Kiki Health state testing with nothing to download.
Capsules or powder: what is the difference on the label?
A capsule label fixes the dose: so many milligrams per capsule, so many capsules in the bottle, plus a shell and anything added to it. A powder label gives a pack weight and a scoop size, so the count depends on a level scoop. DoNotAge is the only brand here selling both, at 500mg a capsule or scoop.
Does Verve Resveratrol Balance contain anything other than resveratrol?
The label table lists one ingredient, resveratrol at 440mg per daily serving, and the product is vegan, gluten free and soy free. The page does not name the capsule shell, does not say "trans-resveratrol" and does not name the plant source. Every batch is tested for purity; the certificate of analysis for your batch, with the purity figure, is available on request from hello@vavaverve.com.
Where can I buy resveratrol in the UK?
All nine brands sell direct from their own websites, and DoNotAge is also stocked by Healf, a UK retailer. Verve as a brand is also sold at Boots, Holland & Barrett and Amazon UK; we have not checked the resveratrol listing at each. Verve Resveratrol Balance is £32.99 one-off, £28.04 a month on subscription or £71.10 a quarter for three packs at vavaverve.com.
How we checked
Every label fact above was taken from the brand's own website on 5 November 2026: vavaverve.com, charava.co.uk, donotage.org, longevitybox.co.uk, uk.naturecan.com, kiki-health.com, timehealth.co.uk, welzo.com and youthandearth.com, using the store's own product data feed where a page would not render. Where a page did not state a figure we have written "Not stated" rather than guessing, and we have not repeated any brand's claims about what resveratrol does. Prices are deliberately not compared here: they change weekly and promotions distort them. Every brand's current price is on its own site. Verve makes Resveratrol Balance 440mg Capsules; the table is label facts, our opinion is in the text.
