We Gave the Viral Dubai Chocolate Bar a Verve Twist… with Mushrooms!
You’ve probably seen the viral Dubai chocolate bar sweeping TikTok - golden kataifi pastry, creamy pistachio filling, all wrapped up in silky chocolate. It’s indulgent, it’s extra, and it’s everything we love about a treat. So, of course, we had to try it… but the Verve way.
That means one thing: Honest Mushrooms. Rich in flavour and packed with functional benefits, our chocolatey mushroom blend was the perfect addition to this internet-famous creation.
The result? A crunchy, gooey, antioxidant-packed delight that tastes like pure luxury - but with wellness benefits baked in.

Ingredients:
75g kataifi pastry
40g your choice of butter (for the pastry)
200g vegan pistachio paste
10g tahini
A pinch of salt
½ tsp coconut oil
1–2 tsp maple syrup (depending on how sweet you like it)
½ tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp Verve Honest Mushrooms
400g vegan chocolate (depending on your mold size - we made two large bars)
Method:
1. Melt your chocolate and pour half into silicone molds. Freeze for 30 minutes until set.
2. In a pan, melt the vegan butter and toast the kataifi pastry until golden and crisp.
3. In a mixing bowl, combine the pistachio paste, tahini, salt, maple syrup, vanilla, coconut oil, and our Honest Mushrooms. Fold in the crispy kataifi.
4. Spoon the mixture over the set chocolate base, then top with the remaining melted chocolate.
5. Freeze again until fully set - then pop out of the molds and enjoy your elevated take on the viral treat!
