product description
Verve Pure Hydra Electrolytes replace what water alone can't — the sodium, potassium and magnesium your body loses through sweat, heat, caffeine and stress. Each stick contains 500mg sodium, 400mg potassium and 150mg magnesium & more, properly dosed and listed in full on the label.
No artificial sweeteners & colours, no proprietary blends — strawberry lemonade flavour, naturally balanced so it tastes refreshing rather than salty or overly sweet.
Most people don't use electrolytes every single day — closer to every other day is the average, depending on training load and how much you're sweating. We built the 14-pack around that: a month's worth of realistic, as-needed use, rather than a count that assumes daily consumption you might not actually need.

what electrolytes do, every day.
replaces the sodium, potassium and magnesium your body loses through sweat. Water alone doesn't replenish them — without the right balance, fluid doesn't go where it's needed.
sodium and potassium are essential for nerve signalling and muscle contraction. Properly balanced electrolytes mean cleaner output and less of the flat, heavy feeling that comes with mild dehydration.
magnesium supports muscle relaxation and recovery after exercise. Consistent electrolyte replacement reduces cramping and helps you bounce back faster between sessions.

when to take your electrolytes

morning
replace what the night took
before you get stuck into your morning flat white, have an electrolyte to replace the fluid you lost during the night.

pre-training
prime before you need it
top up the tank before you exercise to ensure you perform at your best.

post-training
replace what sweat took
it's not just water you lose in sweat, top up what it actually took from you.

demanding afternoons
energy without the crash
the classic post-lunch slump. Reach for an electrolyte instead of another coffee.
The science
how electrolytes actually work
When you sweat, you lose more than fluid — sodium, potassium and magnesium leave with it. Water replaces the volume but not the minerals. Without them, fluid doesn't reach your cells efficiently, which is why you can drink plenty and still feel flat or fatigued.
At 500mg per stick, sodium is the primary driver of cellular hydration. It regulates the fluid balance inside and outside your cells and supports nerve signalling during exercise. Too little and water pools in your bloodstream rather than going where it's needed.
Potassium (400mg) works alongside sodium to maintain intracellular fluid balance and supports muscle contraction. Magnesium (150mg) supports muscle relaxation, energy production and recovery — and is one of the most commonly depleted minerals in people who exercise regularly or drink a lot of coffee.
Most sports drinks lead with sugar and use sodium as an afterthought. Pure Hydra leads with the minerals — all three, properly dosed, in the ratios your body actually loses them. No artificial sweeteners, nothing added to make it more palatable at the expense of what's actually in it.

Or continue with electrolytes onlyFrequently asked questions.
No — and that's a fair thing to wonder, because a lot of electrolyte products are exactly that. Ours has no artificial sweeteners and no artificial flavours. What you're paying for is properly dosed sodium, potassium and magnesium — the minerals your body actually loses, not a drink mix.
Water replaces volume. It doesn't replace what you lose through sweat, caffeine, heat or stress — sodium, potassium and magnesium. You can be fully hydrated on water alone and still feel flat, foggy or fatigued because those minerals haven't been replenished.
Our electrolytes are strawberry lemonade flavour which perfectly balances the sodium content within the product. People often say they're not too salty or too sweet.
Sports drinks lead with sugar for a taste and energy hit. Ours leads with the minerals — sodium, potassium and magnesium in amounts that match what your body actually needs.
It depends on how much you're losing. If you train regularly, sweat heavily, or have physically demanding days, daily is where you'll feel the most benefit — your electrolyte needs scale with how much you're losing, not just whether you trained that day. If you're more sedentary, you may only need it around exercise, heat or long periods of sweating. Coffee, stress and hot weather all add to the picture too, regardless of activity level.
That's why we pack 14 sticks per box — enough for a fortnight of daily use, or to stretch further if you're only reaching for one on higher-sweat days.
