A longevity stack is a set of single-compound supplements bought and taken together. In the UK the three people search for most are NMN, Ca-AKG and TMG, usually with spermidine and quercetin added. The questions that matter when you build one are the same as for any supplement: how many milligrams per serving, how many capsules that takes, what else is in the capsule, what it costs per day, and whether the brand publishes testing. This guide answers those for the five compounds in Verve's Core Renewal Stack and shows the maths for buying them together or separately.

What each compound is
These are chemistry descriptions, not claims about what the compounds do.
NMN (nicotinamide mononucleotide) is a derivative of niacin (vitamin B3) and a precursor to NAD+, a coenzyme found in every cell. Verve's is 1000mg per two-capsule serving. On any NMN label, check whether the headline figure is per capsule or per serving; the two are often confused.
Ca-AKG (calcium alpha-ketoglutarate) is the calcium salt of alpha-ketoglutarate, an intermediate in the Krebs cycle. Because it is a calcium salt, it adds calcium to your day; if you already take a calcium supplement, add the two up. Verve's is 1000mg per two-capsule serving.
TMG (trimethylglycine, also sold as betaine anhydrous) is a methyl donor found in beetroot and wheat bran. It is the most common second purchase after NMN in Verve's range and is sold alongside it by most longevity brands. Verve's is 1500mg per two-capsule serving at 98% betaine anhydrous.
Spermidine is a polyamine found in wheat germ, soy and aged cheese. Verve's is 18mg per capsule, one capsule a day. Spermidine labels vary more than any other compound in this group: some brands state the weight of wheat germ extract rather than the spermidine content, so look for the spermidine figure itself.
Quercetin and fisetin are flavonoids found in onions, apples and strawberries. Verve states them separately, 500mg of each, rather than as a combined blend figure.
Together or separately: the maths
A month of all five bought individually at one-off prices is £133.95. The Core Renewal Stack is £95.00 one-off, which is £38.95 less, or £85.50 a month on subscription and £228.00 a quarter (£76.00 a month). Per day that is £3.17, £2.85 or £2.53. If you only want the three core compounds, NMN, Ca-AKG and TMG bought separately come to £86.97 one-off, or £2.90 a day; each also has its own subscription price on its product page, and the discounts differ by product, so check the page rather than assuming one rate.
How to read any longevity label
- Per serving, not per capsule. "1000mg" on the front can mean one capsule or two. The ingredients table tells you; divide by capsules per serving.
- Servings per pot, not capsules per pot. A 60-capsule pot at two a day is 30 days.
- What else is in the capsule. A single-compound product should list the compound and the shell, nothing else. Fillers, flow agents and rice flour are common and are not wrong, but they should be on the label.
- Stated form. Betaine anhydrous for TMG, calcium salt for Ca-AKG, the spermidine figure rather than the wheat germ weight.
- Testing. Look for "independently lab-tested" or a published certificate of analysis. Verve states independent lab testing for the range and supplies the certificate of analysis for your batch on request from hello@vavaverve.com.
- Cost per day at the dose on the label. Price divided by servings, then compared at the same milligrams.

Can you take NMN, Ca-AKG and TMG together?
They are sold together, and Verve's labels say to take all three in the morning with water. Each is a single compound with no shared actives, so nothing is doubled up. If you take medication or have a medical condition, speak to a healthcare professional before starting.
Why is TMG sold with NMN?
TMG is a methyl donor and NMN is a derivative of vitamin B3. Most longevity brands sell the two side by side and Verve's TMG label says to take it alongside NMN. That is a description of how the products are labelled and sold, not a claim about what the combination does.
