Updated October 2026. Label facts checked on 21 October 2026 on each brand's own UK website. Verve makes one of the products below (Creatine Monohydrate Stick Pack), so read the table before you read our view.

Every creatine stick pack or sachet from a UK brand that we could verify is creatine monohydrate, but the labels differ in four ways. Most give 5g a sachet, one gives 3g and one gives 4.5g, and the sachet weight on the box is not the creatine content. Three list creatine monohydrate as the only ingredient; two are blends with taurine, magnesium, zinc or B vitamins added; two sell a flavoured option alongside an unflavoured one. Three state a named testing programme (Informed Sport or Informed Choice); the rest make their own testing statements or say nothing. Here are the seven UK brands selling creatine sticks or sachets that we could verify on their own websites, compared on what the label says.

The short answer

  • Single ingredient, 5g, nothing else in the sachet: Verve Creatine Monohydrate Stick Pack (unflavoured, 28 or 14 sticks), Puresport Creatine Monohydrate (30 sachets) and Applied Nutrition BodyFuel Creatine Stick Pack (10 sticks).
  • Named certification stated on the page: Puresport and Applied Nutrition (Informed Sport); Myprotein Impact Creatine Sachets (Informed Choice).
  • Smallest packs to try the format: Puresport trial pack (7 x 5g), Zooki (7 sachets), Applied Nutrition and Optimum Nutrition (10), Verve 14-stick pack.
  • Flavoured option: Optimum Nutrition (Fruit Punch), Myprotein (Berry Burst), Zooki (Wild berry or Summer fruits, sweetened with stevia).
  • 3g dose: Optimum Nutrition Micronised Creatine Sachets, the only 3g sachet in the table.
  • Creatine with other ingredients: Ancient + Brave True Creatine+ (4.5g with taurine, magnesium and vitamin D3); Zooki Creatine+ (5g with zinc and B vitamins, amounts not given).

Creatine stick packs and sachets UK: the comparison table

Every column is a label fact read from each brand's UK site. The creatine content is shown separately from the sachet weight so a 3g or 4.5g sachet can be compared with a 5g one. "Not readable" means the figure is published only as an image, or the section was empty when we checked.

What to look for on the label

Four lines on a creatine sachet label do the work. The nutrition table gives the creatine monohydrate per serving, and sometimes a second line, "of which creatine", which is the smaller number. The ingredients list shows whether the sachet is creatine alone or carries acids, flavourings, sweeteners, colours, vitamins, minerals or extracts. The testing wording is either a named programme with a public batch register (Informed Sport, Informed Choice) or the brand's own statement, which you cannot look up but may be able to ask for. The pack line gives the sachet count and weight; for one product here the page text and the box image disagree, and for another the text gives no count at all. Everything in the table above comes from those four lines.

The products in detail

Verve Creatine Monohydrate Stick Pack

Verve's stick pack is the product we make. Each 5g stick is creatine monohydrate at a stated 99.9% purity, 200 mesh, with nothing else in it: "No fillers, no flow agents, no flavours, no colours." Vegan and gluten-free. The page says every batch is tested three times by independent laboratories and that the three batch test certificates are available on request from hello@vavaverve.com. That is Verve's own testing, not a certification programme: unlike Puresport and Applied Nutrition there is no Informed Sport logo, which counts against it if you are a tested athlete. One stick a day, no loading phase. £24.99 one-off for 28 (89p a stick), £18.99 a month on subscription (68p) or £47.99 a quarter for 84 (57p); a 14-stick pack is £15.99 and the Performance Bundle adds 14 electrolyte sticks for £45. Who it suits: anyone who wants a single-ingredient, unflavoured 5g stick with a batch certificate they can ask for, and who does not need a named programme on the box.

Puresport Creatine Monohydrate (30 pack)

Thirty sachets of 5g creatine monohydrate, listed as a single ingredient with no flavour named. The page states "Informed Sport Certified" and carries a vegan badge. A loading phase is described as an option that "isn't required". Sold one-off or on a monthly subscription, and a seven-sachet trial pack is also sold; the 30-pack is listed on hollandandbarrett.com. It is the closest like-for-like to Verve's stick: same dose, same single ingredient, in a sachet rather than a stick, with a named certification Verve does not have. Who it suits: tested athletes who want a single-ingredient 5g sachet with Informed Sport on the box.

Myprotein Impact Creatine Sachets

Thirty sachets, unflavoured or Berry Burst. The unflavoured sachet weighs 5.7g and the FAQ describes "the golden daily dose in each 5g sachet"; the ingredients and nutrition sections were empty when we checked, so we could not read the exact creatine monohydrate figure off the label. Berry Burst comes in a 7.5g sachet. The page states Informed Choice certification and says the sachets are "independently tested for purity and free from banned substances". A delivery-frequency option is offered. Who it suits: anyone who wants Informed Choice on the box and a choice of unflavoured or flavoured from the same brand.

Optimum Nutrition Micronised Creatine Sachets

The only 3g sachet in the table. Ten sachets in Fruit Punch or UnFlavoured, also sold as a three-box pack. The page describes "3g of pure Micronised Creatine Monohydrate" with directions of one sachet daily for 28 days. The nutrition panel is an image, so the Fruit Punch ingredients are not readable, and no Informed Choice or Informed Sport wording appears on the UK page. No subscription is shown. At 3g it gives 2g less creatine monohydrate per sachet than most of the others here. Who it suits: anyone who wants a smaller dose, a flavoured option or a familiar brand in a 10-pack.

Applied Nutrition BodyFuel Creatine Monohydrate Stick Pack

A 5g stick of unflavoured creatine monohydrate, ingredients "100% Creatine Monohydrate", with "no flavourings, no sweeteners, and no fillers". The page has an "Informed-Sport Tested" heading and says the product is suitable for vegans. The page text does not state the stick count, but its own product image is labelled 10 x 5g and UK retailer listings agree. Sold out when we checked, and no subscription is offered on the product. On the label it is the same proposition as Verve's stick, single ingredient and unflavoured, with Informed Sport added and a smaller pack. Who it suits: anyone who wants Informed Sport on a single-ingredient 5g stick in a 10-pack, once it is back in stock.

Ancient + Brave True Creatine+ Sachets

A blend rather than plain creatine. Each 6g sachet gives 4.5g creatine monohydrate (3.9g creatine on the nutrition table), 1g taurine, 57mg magnesium as citrate (15% NRV) and 0.75μg vitamin D3 (15% NRV). "Naturally Neutral" and vegan; the page text gives 15 servings (the box image reads 18 x 5g; both total 90g). Sold one-off or on a subscription delivered every two to eight weeks. No Informed Sport or batch-testing wording appears on the product page. Who it suits: anyone who wants magnesium and vitamin D in the same sachet and accepts a 4.5g dose with no testing statement on the page.

Zooki Creatine+ for Men and for Women

Two flavoured sachets, each with 5g of micronised creatine monohydrate: Wild berry for men, with cordyceps extract, zinc citrate and vitamin B12, and Summer fruits for women, with zinc citrate, vitamin B6 and B12. Both list citric acid, natural flavourings, stevia and beetroot red; neither page gives amounts for the added vitamins, zinc or cordyceps. The creatine is "independently tested and verified at 99.9% purity"; no named programme is stated. Both are vegan. Sold in packs of 7 or 30, one-off or on subscription. Who it suits: anyone who wants a flavoured 5g sachet with added vitamins and does not need the amounts of those additions on the label.

Others you will see named

RAW Nutrition's 30 x 5g stick packs are a US product sold in the UK through third-party retailers, with no UK brand site. Thorne's stick packs and Transparent Labs' Creatine HMB are priced in US dollars. Free Soul lists a Pure Creatine mini on freesoul.com, but it was unavailable when we checked and the page gives no sachet count or label detail; Holland & Barrett's listing calls it 7 x 5g. XO Fitness (10 sachets) and The Ten Percent Club Creatine Max Sachets (28) are sold through Holland & Barrett, Superdrug and Decathlon, but we could not find a brand website to verify either label. Warrior's Creatine Plus Electrolytes is a tub. Bulk, Innermost and Protein Works had no single-serve creatine on their UK sites when we looked.

How to compare creatine sachets

  • Grams of creatine, not grams of powder. Myprotein's unflavoured sachet weighs 5.7g; Ancient + Brave's 6g sachet holds 4.5g creatine monohydrate; Optimum Nutrition's holds 3g.
  • Creatine monohydrate and creatine are different numbers. Ancient + Brave's label shows 4.5g creatine monohydrate "of which creatine 3.9g". Most labels give only the monohydrate weight.
  • Read the "other ingredients" line. Verve, Puresport and Applied Nutrition list creatine monohydrate alone. Flavoured sachets carry acids, sweeteners and colours; blends add vitamins, minerals or extracts, sometimes without amounts.
  • Testing wording has two tiers. Informed Sport (Puresport, Applied Nutrition) and Informed Choice (Myprotein) are named programmes with public batch registers. "Tested three times by independent laboratories, certificates on request" (Verve) and "independently tested and verified at 99.9% purity" (Zooki) are brand statements. Only the first tier can be looked up; the second depends on the brand showing you the certificate.
  • Check pack size and stock. Packs run 7, 10, 14, 15, 28 and 30. Ancient + Brave's page text and box image give different counts, Applied Nutrition's text gives none, and Applied Nutrition's stick was sold out when we checked.
  • Price the plan you will actually be on. One-off, monthly and quarterly plans are priced differently, so check each brand's site for today's price before you compare.
  • The one authorised claim. In Great Britain the permitted health claim is that creatine increases physical performance in successive bursts of short-term, high intensity exercise, at a daily intake of 3g. Every product in the table provides at least 3g a sachet.

Creatine stick packs and sachets: your questions

What is the difference between a creatine stick pack and a tub on the label?

The ingredient is the same: creatine monohydrate, usually with nothing else in an unflavoured product. The difference is how the dose is measured. A stick or sachet is sealed with a pre-measured amount, 5g in most of the products here, so the dose on the label is the dose you take. A tub gives you a scoop and a stated serving size, and you measure each dose yourself; the serving size on a tub is not always 5g. On either format, read the nutrition table for the creatine monohydrate figure, not the pack weight.

How much creatine is in a stick pack?

Most give 5g of creatine monohydrate: Verve, Puresport, Applied Nutrition and Zooki all state 5g, and Myprotein's FAQ describes a 5g dose in a 5.7g sachet. Optimum Nutrition's sachet is 3g and Ancient + Brave's is 4.5g creatine monohydrate, shown on the label as 3.9g creatine. The sachet weight on the box is not the creatine content, so look for the nutrition table.

Is Verve creatine third-party tested?

Verve's product page says every batch is tested three times by independent laboratories, and that the three batch test certificates are available on request from hello@vavaverve.com. It does not name a certification programme such as Informed Sport or Informed Choice, and we have not added one. If you need a product on a public batch register, Puresport and Applied Nutrition state Informed Sport and Myprotein states Informed Choice.

Which creatine sachets are unflavoured?

Verve (unflavoured, no flavours or colours), Applied Nutrition (unflavoured, "100% Creatine Monohydrate") and Puresport (one ingredient, no flavour listed) are plain creatine monohydrate. Myprotein and Optimum Nutrition each sell an unflavoured option alongside a flavoured one. Ancient + Brave is "Naturally Neutral" but contains taurine, magnesium and vitamin D3 as well as creatine. Zooki is flavoured only.

Can you buy creatine stick packs in Holland & Barrett or Boots?

Yes at Holland & Barrett: on 21 October 2026 hollandandbarrett.com listed Verve's 14-stick Creatine Monohydrate pack and Puresport's 30-sachet box, and web search results showed Holland & Barrett listings for Free Soul, XO Fitness and Optimum Nutrition creatine sachets too. Verve is also sold at Boots and on Amazon UK as a brand. We did not check boots.com for individual creatine sachet listings.

Do you need a loading phase with creatine sachets?

No label in this table requires one. Verve's directions say "No loading phase", Myprotein's FAQ says loading "is not necessary", and Puresport's page says it "isn't required" while describing one as an option. Optimum Nutrition's directions are one 3g sachet daily for 28 days; Applied Nutrition, Ancient + Brave and Zooki do not mention loading. The authorised GB claim that creatine increases physical performance in successive bursts of short-term, high intensity exercise applies at a daily intake of 3g, which every sachet here provides. Follow the directions on the pack you buy.

How we checked

Every label fact above was taken from the brand's own UK website on 21 October 2026: vavaverve.com, puresport.co, myprotein.com, optimumnutrition.com (UK site), appliednutrition.uk, ancientandbrave.earth, zooki.com and bulk.com/uk, with hollandandbarrett.com checked for the stockist question only. Where a nutrition panel is an image (Optimum Nutrition, Applied Nutrition) or the ingredients section was empty (Myprotein), we have said so rather than guessing, and where a page's text and images disagree (Ancient + Brave's sachet count, Applied Nutrition's stick count) we have shown both. Prices are deliberately not compared here: they change weekly and promotions distort them. Every brand's current price is on its own site. Verve makes the Creatine Monohydrate Stick Pack; we have kept the table to facts you can verify on each label and our opinion to the text.
